Established in 1992 under the name of IKC, changing to ID Beauty in 2010 and finally becoming DPLG in 2023 – the company’s development has revolved around three key focuses:
– Distribution of fragrances and cosmetics
– Fragrance licences
– Creation and development of cosmetic brands
In 2005, the French newspaper ‘Le Figaro’ placed it in 6th position in a ranking of companies in the Paris region according to the EBITDA.
Based 100% on private capital, the company is managed by its principal shareholder and Chairman, Alexandre Cukier and his son Arthur Cukier.
Its financial stability is demonstrated by its Banque de France rating (3+ in 2013).

With past experiences in private equity, Arthur has specialised in brand creation, data analytics and E-commerce. After learning the business at Clarins and in some of the largest E-commerce aggregators, we joined the family business with the ambition to modernise and develop the cosmetic and licenses creation.
Alexandre Cukier - Founder, COO and Advisor
Serial Entrepreneur and Founder of DPLG, Alexandre Cukier remains in charge of the distribution space. With more than 30 years of experience in the perfume and cosmetics industry, his knowledge and relationships of the brick and mortar and wholesale makes DPLG a partner of choice.
Maria Varciu - Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Retail
With past experiences at LVMH and IKC, and more than 13 years of experience as the director of Rexaline, Maria has built amazing relationship with buyers and retailers all over Europe. Her sense of the latest trends in the space and her perfect knowledge of what buyers want makes her a perfect addition to our team.
